How to Open the DVD Drive on a Mac G4 Silver Computer
The easiest way to open your DVD drive on your Mac G4 Silver or Quicksilver computer is to press the eject button on your keyboard, which looks like a triangle with a line underneath it, or hold down the F12 key. However, occasionally your DVD drive will become unresponsive, refusing to eject the disc or even acknowledge that there is a disc in there. If this happens, a simple restart trick will open that stubborn drive for you.
